Prom 2014 | A Personal Post

2014-05-11_0016So, I’m really sorry that I have been MIA from the blog lately…but it’s with good reason!! I’ve been working hard on rebranding and redesigning my site & blog. The site was launched last week and the blog is officially DONE! WOOHOO! I am so excited and could not be more thankful for Meg Long from SiteHouse Designs for all she did to help me. I’ll be blogging more about my re-brand later on this week 🙂 But, for today, I want to blog about my AMAZING night last night!!

Yesterday, I got to pretend I was a princess for the night and get all dressed up for my SENIOR PROM!! It has been MONTHS in the making (let me tell you…dress shopping is not easy) but I am SO glad that I went! Last year, Brandon and I weren’t able to go to prom because he was out of town for his sister’s wedding. But, this year, everybody was excited and we had the best time!! Ali and I had our hair and makeup done by the fabulous Drew of Makeup by Drew and it was so much fun to get ready together! Then, we headed out for some pics of just the girls (while the boys were out fishing, of course) and then met up with the guys for more pics (that’s obviously the most important part, duh). After that, we headed to Ali’s for a DELICIOUS dinner made by her dad (he is a KILLER cook!!) then headed off to the dance!!!

Ali’s little brother is five years old and, while we were at her house for dinner, he was COMPLETELY convinced that I was Elsa from the movie “Frozen”!! It was the cutest thing ever and he kept serenading me with “Let it Go”, it made my night 🙂

Enjoy some my favorite prom pictures below and let me know what you think of the brand new blog!!
