My first EVER shoot in downtown Charleston…something I’ve dreamed of doing for YEARS!!! Every time I’ve visited Rainbow Row and the beautiful downtown area I dreamed of photographing someone here. I didn’t care if I lived here or not…I just wanted to capture it’s beauty! But, now I’m officially LIVING in the city I’ve always dreamed…and photographing beautiful couples in locations I never imagined would be right down the street. I am so beyond grateful!!!

Brittany and Michael emailed me very shortly after my announcement that I’d be moving to Charleston. They were going to be visiting the area for their 5 year wedding anniversary and wanted portraits to celebrate! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was to get that first Charleston inquiry. It meant the WORLD to me! They were so patient with me amidst my crazy traveling and the hurricane in Charleston delaying me finding the perfect locations for their session, but I’m so grateful they trusted me! I did some exploring and some researching and found the most BEAUTIFUL park dripping with Spanish moss for their last shooting location. It was truly a DREAM…just wait until you scroll down!!! 

Brittany and Michael, thank you for entrusting me to capture these memories for you! Working with you both was such a blast and these images have quickly become some of my favorite work to date! Enjoy some of my favorites!!!

The GLOW from the sunlight made my heart sing! And the car parked in front of this area moved RIGHT as we started shooting!
