This wedding day was overall one of my favorites I’ve ever been a part of. Aubree and Nick found my business on social media and Aubree is a photographer herself based in Boston, MA. When she told me they were planning a wedding day on Cape Cod…I was overwhelmed with excitement!! I lived on base on Cape Cod when I was really young (I moved away in 2nd grade) and hadn’t been back since! But, I absolutely LOVED living there and couldn’t imagine photographing such a beautiful location! Aubree and Nick came all the way to Virginia for their engagement session last year, and it felt like WAY too long before I got to hug them again in Cape Cod last weekend!

There were so many reasons this day was extra special, but my favorite was that it was an intimate celebration of only 20 guests. Not only did that mean there was a laidback timeline with tons of time for photography, but it meant that every single piece of the day was intentionally designed for Aubree and Nick. There were so many thoughtful details, personalized gifts and sweet moments during this day that reminded everyone why the choice to have an intimate celebration was the perfect one for this couple. I just can’t stop telling everyone around me how PERFECT this day was…it almost makes me want to tell every bride I meet to do exactly what Aubree and Nick did!! Haha!

Aubree and Nick, thank you for letting me capture such a sweet celebration and your love story. It was truly SUCH a privilege and an honor to be chosen to photograph such a beautiful day…and to have me travel so far! It means the absolute world to me and I hope you love my favorites as much as I do!!!

I walked into the most GORGEOUS room of detail styling options and was overwhelmed in the BEST way!! Because Aubree is a photographer herself, she really wanted to prioritize details and flat lays…so we got over an HOUR to play with details!!! A photographer’s DREAM!!
