I can still remember the days I sat in my high school classroom with a head full of big dreams. I was answering emails on my phone under the desk, skipping dances and pep rallies for meetings and hustling hard to make my dreams a reality. I had no idea if being a full-time business owner was even a possibility…but I knew that I was going to hustle harder than ever to make it happen.
In the last four years, I have been through so many seasons of business: seasons of doubt and insecurity, seasons of never feeling good enough, seasons of not knowing how in the world I was going to make this work and seasons where I was ready to give up. Wherever you are right now, however you are feeling, I’ve been there. I see you. And I am cheering you on every step of the way.
Through hard work and hustle and a whole lot of learning, I’ve been able to build a six-figure photography business doing what I love every day. And, even better: I have my LIFE back. I’ve implemented workflows and resources that allow me to be in control of my business, instead of my business controlling me.

The Hope Taylor workshop is an intentionally designed, two-day, in-person experience for photographers that desire to build a successful business rooted in serving people.
This 2-day workshop will teach attendees everything that I have done to build a successful photography business. The first day of the workshop will focus on portrait photography while the second day will cover wedding photography. We will cover a wide range of topics including business, marketing, social media, shooting, posing, lighting, client experience, organization, workflow, branding and more. Each workshop seat includes the pre-workshop meet & greet, 2 day workshop, two portfolio-building styled shoots with industry leading professionals, a fresh head shot, lunch & dinner both days as well as swag from our sponsors and access to the online Hope Taylor Q+A community following the event.
While I know it is so much more exciting to read about what the workshop includes and all of the exciting things we will be doing, I feel like it is SO important for me to include WHY I am teaching and why I have a passion for helping new photographers. I fully believe that, as creatives, we NEVER stop learning. I don't claim to know everything, because I fully believe that I will never stop learning myself!
I want to teach because I want to share my experiences with others, the good and the bad, so that they can learn from my mistakes instead of making the same ones. I want to answer the questions that other photographers won't answer because I don't ever want to discourage anyone from chasing their dream.
My goal is for everyone to leave this workshop feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to take on a business of their own without fear of failure. I want to empower those who are scared to make the leap of being full time, and I want to encourage photographers who may be afraid to begin their journey.
My hope is that everyone will walk out of the workshop feeling like they have all the tools they need to conquer the world and fearlessly pursue their dreams. I want to encourage other photographers while empowering young women and making them feel beautiful in front of the camera.

Each workshop is limited to 15 attendees in order to assure an intimate experience with more than enough time to answer everyone's questions and cover all topics. Each workshop seat is $750 and includes an optional meet & greet the evening before the workshop, 9 hours of instructional time, a new headshot, participation in the styled shoot, portfolio images, a gift bag, a delicious lunch, a Q+A pizza party following the workshop and more!

Each year, I offer a limited number of one-on-one intensives for business owners interested in personalized coaching. These sessions consist of two hours of intensive content tailored to fit your business’ specific needs. Popular topics include marketing, social media, hosting workshops, launch strategy, business workflows, troubleshooting and outsourcing - nothing is off limits! We will take an inside look at your business and analyze practical next steps to see immediate growth. These sessions take place at my home in Fredericksburg VA and are two hours long. Brand new head shots, walk-throughs of my workflows and addition to the Hope Taylor Education online community are included.
Business intensives are $850 for two hours
Business intensives have quickly become one of my FAVORITE forms of education that I offer! Working in person, side by side to dive into the nitty gritty of YOUR specific business is unlike any other online or group education. On the day of your mentoring session, you will select either the morning or afternoon time slot. In between time slots, we will be meeting for lunch and head shots so that you get to spend time with me AND the other business owner I am mentoring that day!
Before your business intensive, you will receive in in-depth questionnaire that will help me get to know you and your business. From there, I will analyze your specific needs so create an outline of what topics we will cover at our session. We will spend a whole two hours together at my home in downtown Fredericksburg and I can promise we will have SO much fun! Click to read what past alumni had to say about their experience!
