I had such an AMAZING time this past Friday!! One of the workshop attendees, Erika, found out last minute that she would not be able to make it to the workhop. So instead, we had a one-on-one mentoring session that was tailored for Erika’s needs and we talked about posing, lighting, editing, post processing workflow and how to build your client base!  It was so much fun! I absolutely love one-on-ones because I am able to focus on one person and their specific needs rather than having to generalize the material for a larger group. (but I love workshops just as much!!) For the first hour of the session, we had a gorgeous model, Sarah, come down for a shoot to help Erika build her portolfio! We focused on how to manipulate lighting, how to incorporate different outfits/props into posing and how to make your clients feel comfortable during their sessions. Afterwards, we headed to my house for some Reese’s Cups and popcorn while we discussed workflow, building your portfolio and finding your target client. I’m so thankful for being able to work with Erika, and so happy that Sarah was able to come model for our shoot! How beautiful is she?!
