As I am currently on the train ride home from NYC, I just cannot contain my excitement about this post!! This shoot has been secretly in the making for MONTHS and, as we arrived in Times Square on Monday, I was squealing with excitement!! We took this NYC trip for my 18th birthday (woohoo!) and we had such a blast! (I’ll be blogging more about my trip this week!) But this photoshoot was most definitely one of my favorite parts!! Stephany and I have been talking about this shoot since we booked the trip back in March. We’ve been grabbing pieces for the shoot here and there,  finding gorgeous Audrey inspiration pics and planning how we would manage to shoot in the middle of Times Square at dinner time! When we finally put it all together: the black scalloped-neck dress, bright aqua heels, black & white sunhat, chunky pearls and red lipstick…Stephany was the PERFECT Audrey!!!

We headed out into swarms of people (who all thought Stephany was famous) and got to work! We managed to find a few spots that were slightly less crowded and even convinced a taxi driver to let us use his car for the shoot! I can’t even put into words how much fun we had and how much I LOVE these images!

I also want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for their amazing support, encouragement and wise words regarding my decision to attend a community college instead of leaving for Radford. (Check out my last post for more details on this!) I’ve gotten HUNDREDS of texts, comments, emails and FB messages regarding the post and I cannot express how much I appreciate and value everyone’s support. After a tough few days full of hard decisions and mixed emotions, shooting in Times Square showed me that I am exactly where I need to be. I could not be happier with my decision to follow my dreams and I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
