Oh, friends. This post is something that I am so excited about I can hardly stand it. When Natalie gave me a call last week + shared her heart behind The Rising Tide Society, I was in awe. Her and Krista have been behind the secenes planning something LIFE CHANGING for this community, and I am so excited to already see it flourishing. These ladies, along with some other industry leaders, have started a wave of #communityovercompetition and started a movement like no other. I am so honored to be a small part in something that’s going to make huge changes, and I cannot wait to kickstart it all next month!!

The Rising Tide Society is a society for creative entrepreneurs who believe in community over competition. It’s for the dreamers, boss ladies and small business owners alike. This isn’t something that’s just for photographers or for full-time business owners. This is for the women with full time jobs who have a dream to pursue wedding planning. It’s for the high schooler who wants to be a photographer. It’s for the 3-year business owner who needs a community to support her. It’s for the ones with big dreams and passions and creative hearts. This is something for EVERYONE in the creative industry, and it is going to bring us together like never before.

Across the country, in dozens of cities, industry leaders are rising up to host monthly “Tuesdays Together” where we meet at a local coffee shop, chat about our business, make new friends, support each others dreams, encourage hearts + change lives. You don’t need anything to attend except yourself and a heart for community over competition. This industry that we’re in can be lonely sometimes. Those late nights behind your computer, those struggles that make you want to quit, those days when your to-do list seems to be never-ending…we ALL have them. And nothing is better than having a team of cheerleaders by your side to encourage you through the hard times and celebrate with you during the good.

On the first Tuesday of every month, the Fredericksburg #TuesdaysTogether will be held in downtown Fredericksburg! The first one is being held on May 5th from 12-2pm at Hyperion Esspreso. You don’t need to RSVP to attend, and you can come from ANYWHERE! Feel free to travel from wherever you are to join us for the afternoon!!
