In preparation of this month’s Senior Photography Workshop, I am SO excited to share this Kate Spade inspired shoot from March’s workshop!! Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events and I worked for month’s to put together a shoot that would “wow” the attendees, and she did just that!! The week of the March workshop, the weather forecast decided to take a nose dive and there was suddenly a mini-blizzard on the way. The shoot that was initially supposed to be outdoors needed a new venue, and when I came across the Jepson Alumni Center at Mary Washington University, I KNEW it was going to be perfect!! Those black and white tile floors!? SWOON! Kat was absolutely amazing to be so accommodating with so many last-minute changes, and she put together I shoot that I ADORE!

When the attendees arrived at the Jepson Center for the shooting portion of the workshop day, we had SO much fun!!! I walked them through my senior posing flow + how to shoot details before we broke down into small groups with 4 attendees shooting each model individually. This way, I was able to work around the room providing coaching and posing tips to all of the attendees in a one-on-one environment, and they were able to capture amazing images for their portfolios! I just can’t get enough of this shoot + I’m so excited to finally be sharing it today!! YAY!
