Last week, I met with Kayla for an incredible mentoring session at the studio + I loved every second of it!! We dove into business basics + technical camera knowledge to kickstart her senior + wedding photography business. We spent two hours in the studio covering TONS of amazing information, and then we headed out on a BEAUTIFUL 70 degree day to shoot our models! Shelby is one of my 2016 spokesmodels + her boyfriend, Josh, joined us for the shoot so Kayla could learn about posing a senior as well as posing a couple.

Let me tell you guys…this shoot has quickly become one of my FAVORITES to date!!! The weather was beautiful, the light was amazing + the cherry blossoms were just starting to bloom all over the area!!! We explored downtown, the Mary Washington campus + a beautiful open field…I’m in love with every image!! Spring has officially sprung here in Fredericksburg + I’m in photographer heaven!!
