Last week’s workshop was an amazing one, and you can read the recap HERE! But, I think my favorite part of this one definitely had to be the styled shoot. I had never done a fall workshop before this one, so we ran with the fall colors and sweater weather vibe that all of us autumn-lovers are obsessed with! 🙂 And I love every single image!!! So many flannels and vests and pumpkins and boots…all of my favorite things!!!

During the styled shoot portion of every workshop, attendees get to experience exactly what a shoot looks like with me. From posing to lighting to client interaction to locations to camera functions to styling…they get to learn it ALL! Then, they are broken up into small groups and shoot through stations so that they have one-on-one time with the models and more opportunities to ask me questions one-on-one as they shoot. It’s always one of my favorite parts of the day because it’s when I really start to hear comments like “my images never looked like this before!” and “oh my gosh, I never knew my camera could do that!” It makes my heart so happy! I want to say a HUGE thank you to Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events for her AMAZING styling with this shoot and to Hello Darling Beauty, SnapSpace Studios, The Littlest Paperie and Monkee’s of Fredericksburg for their contributions!!
