Sometimes you have a really elaborate styled shoot planned…and then sometimes there’s a BLIZZARD that puts a bit of kink in your plans!! This weekend was supposed to be my second annual spokesmodel styled shoot, but it didn’t necessarily go as expected! Caroline and I planned an amazing slumber party weekend for the 2017 team at Quirk Hotel  including a night in a 2-story loft suite (SO FUN!), a yummy Mexican dinner, hair and makeup all morning, a full day of shooting, wardrobe from Anthropologie in Richmond, a beautiful set design and more! BUT, Richmond was calling for 1-3 inches of snow…and we woke up to almost 12 INCHES on Saturday morning!! WHAT!? All of the vendors and to call out last minute (which I totally understand-saftey is always first!!) So we had to cancel the styled shoot the morning of. But, that didn’t stop us from having an amazing time 🙂

The girls all had such great attitudes about the change of plans. We slept in a little late on Saturday and headed down to the lobby of Quirk for an amazing breakfast. Then, we stayed cozy in the room while all of the girls did their own hair and makeup and we braved the blizzard for a mini photo shoot just for fun!!! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, right!? 🙂

I am SO thankful for Caroline for all of her help, support and planning expertise for this shoot. She really is one of a kind! We can’t wait for part two of this shoot (the REAL deal!) later this month, but I still wanted to share some fun pictures from our slumber party and snow day!!
