Samantha and Patrick’s wedding day was beautiful and unique in more ways than one. From floral bridesmaids dresses, thousands of hand-picked wildflowers, handmade bouquets and stunning mountain views…it has been thrown at the top of my list of favorite wedding days!!! Samantha and Patrick are some of the sweetest and most genuine people I’ve had the honor to photograph. Everything about their wedding day exuded joy and excitement – and now they are packing up and traveling the WORLD for nine months instead of the typical honeymoon. So, on top of people wonderful people, they are also just all-around much cooler than me!! Haha!! They like to call themselves Tinder’s first “legit” couple – because they met on the app and after the first date, the rest was history!

Samantha and Patrick put so much thought into their DIY wedding celebration. Samantha’s mom hand-picked the wildflowers from her garden that filled the entire day. They had a pizza food truck instead of a formal seated meal. They had a donut bar instead of a cake and s’mores out by the fire with lawn games. They wanted their guests to feel so loved and welcome on their wedding day and that was exactly how it went!! Everyone had an incredible time and it couldn’t have been more of a perfect fit for them both. I’m still so impressed with all of the DIY details they pulled off by themselves!! AMAZING!!
