This is my LAST wedding of 2017!!! WHAT!? How does time fly so quickly? I can’t BELIEVE it. But, if I had to choose a wedding to end out 2017 on the BEST note, it would’ve been Annie and Paul’s! I absolutely love Shadow Creek (and I photographed my last wedding of 2016 here, too!) and Annie and Paul are just the best couple. They wanted their entire wedding day to glorify God and all of the ways He has blessed them by bringing them together. It was truly the most joyful, Christ-centered celebration and I feel so blessed to have been a part of it all!

Annie was spending a week with her cousins in the summer of 2011 when they kept telling her about the mysterious “Paul” that she just HAD to meet. She attended a swim meet with her family one morning where Paul was lifeguarding and admired him from across the pool. As she was leaving, Paul approached her and started making small talk – and made sure to get her number before she left! Paul left to attend Virginia Tech just a month later, which Annie assumed would be the end of their relationship. But, to her surprise, he came and visited time and time again and they fell more in love over their years together. Years later, Annie was spending a typical Saturday at the gym, It was a particularly chilly morning, so she decided to spend more time there than usual…three HOURS, to be exact. Little did she know, Paul was outside waiting to ask her to be his WIFE!!! It is so evident that God brought these two together to do BIG things…and I loved capturing the beginning of their story on camera.
