I had been looking forward to this senior session for SO LONG! Maddie reached out to me about wanting to travel into town to capture her senior portraits here in Fredericksburg. She lived over two hours away in a small town AND she was a photographer herself. Talk about feeling HONORED to be chosen to capture these memories for her!!! As we lead up to the day of her session, we chatted about outfits and locations and how much fun we were going to have at her shoot. And it couldn’t have been a better day!!!
Maddie’s sweet dad came with her to her session and helped carry bags, hold outfit options, cheer her on and take behind-the-scenes pictures. It was seriously just SO much fun! We explored some of my favorite Fredericksburg locations and talked all about how Maddie got started in photography and what her plans were for her future. She is such a bright light and her story reminds me so much of my own!! I’m so proud of her and it was truly such a privilege to be her senior photographer!!
Maddie, I enjoyed our time together so much and I hope you love some of my favorite images here as much as I do!!!
Love these two!!!
This giggly smile was my FAVORITE on her!!!
Not many flowers are still left in bloom in this VA heat…but we hit the jackpot with these!!
The sun broke through a SUPER grey, cloudy day just for Maddie to have some “golden” light!!!
Love that she rocked this outfit with her cowgirl boots to show her small town roots!!!
This last set at golden hour is for SURE my favorite from the entire shoot!!!
LOVE!!!!
Another fave!!!
Her sweet dad!!!
