I truly don’t even know where to start with this blog post. This couple means SO, so, so much to me. Caroline and I had our first Skype consultation months and months ago. She found me online and was considering me as her wedding photographer. Since then, we have become the BEST of friends…and it truly was SO unbelievably special to capture these memories for her and Mike. That first Skype call was supposed to last 15-20 mins…and we talked for 2 hours about everything from home decor to shopping to stories of our bubbly, outgoing personalities. We then had an in-person meeting that went the same exact way…and we took a selfie on the way out! I was officially her wedding photographer, but I still couldn’t have imagined the friendship that would grow out of this sweet wedding client!

Caroline and Mike have such a special type of love that I can’t even put into words. They both light up any room they walk into, and the way that their friends and family speak about them says so much about who they are as people. I SOBBED my way through the entire vows and their reception toasts. They love each other in a once-in-a-lifetime way that truly makes me feel special that I was even able to witness it.

Because Caroline and I became such close friends through her wedding planning process, I felt even more pressure to capture this day in a way that would make her wildest wedding dreams come true. Erika second shot this wedding with me and we talked for days leading up to it about how beautiful and special it was going to be…and it was SO TRUE!!! It could not have been a better day. It was beautiful visually because of the details and thought that Caroline put into every single piece…but it was mostly beautiful because of the couple that was coming together as husband and wife. It truly may be one of my favorite wedding blog posts to date!!!

Caroline and Mike: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for entrusting me to capture these precious memories. I feel so lucky to know you both, and even more lucky that I was able to witness such a beautiful marriage come to life at your wedding. I LOVE YOU both to the moon and back.
