I knew Annie and Ben’s wedding day was going to be special from the moment I met them at their Richmond engagement session. We did their engagement photos all the way back in January 2020…and their wedding date had to be rescheduled not ONCE, but TWICE. These two have been together for over 11 years (!!!), so this day was long-awaited for so many reasons! As we got closer and closer to the wedding day…the forecast started to be an issue. There was a 97% chance of rain and storms the entire day…and a tight timeline on top of it. I knew it may be a challenging day from a photography perspective…but I LOVE a good challenge. And, it has quickly become one of my FAVORITE wedding galleries! I can’t wait for you to see these!

Despite the crazy forecast, I arrived to Annie’s childhood home the morning of the wedding and the joy was CONTAGIOUS. Everyone was just so excited to be there! And, Annie’s childhood home was a photographer’s dream come true…especially mine! The soft blue walls and details perfectly accented Annie’s wedding colors, and we had the best time photographing bridal portraits in a location that was already so sentimental. There was a tear-jerking father-daughter first look, a sweet letter from Benny and the SUN even peeked out for some bridesmaids portraits!! When the clouds miraculously break on a day that was supposed to be 97% rain…you know it’s going to be GOOD!! The rest of the day was just as incredbile…and I hope you enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites!
