I don’t even know where to start with recapping this amazing day. There are very few weddings that I look forward to for WEEKS leading up to them…but Meredith and Mitch’s wedding was one of them! I have photographed the Melo family for years, and the fact that I felt like I was walking into a day hanging out with old friends was just the start of what made this day so wonderful! Meredith and Mitch have the sweetest type of love that I just can’t get enough of photographing. The kind where you can just LOOK at them and know that they are absolute best friends who were truly meant for each other. Their playful, joyful, belly-laugh type of love was intertwined through every element of their wedding day…and it was just a joy to capture from start to finish.
Aside from how much I adore this couple and their family…Meredith’s taste for pastel tones and Southern details makes her a girl after my own heart! The invitation suite was one of the details she wanted highlighted most in her imagery (say no more, sister!) The entire day was so stunning from start to finish: a fluffy peony-filled bridal bouquet, pastel tone florals throughout the reception space and fun details like napkins dedicated to their pup, Jack, and a french fry bar…I couldn’t love it more if I tried! Did I mention we were the first people ever allowed to take portraits on the ROOF of The Cavalier hotel at golden hour? JUST YOU WAIT.
Meredith and Mitch: Thank you for trusting me to capture the most special day of your lives! I hope you are soaking up every moment of your honeymoon…and that you have enough Wi-Fi to scroll through some of my favorite images from your special day 🙂
I could have photographed this suite ALL. DAY.
The sweetest welcome gifts for all of her guests!
I photographed Meredith’s sister’s wedding a few years ago…which made this day even MORE special and emotional for me to capture! The tears already started flowing here…it was HAPPENING!
