Moving to Charleston and Savannah has been a really interesting transition for my business. I used to photograph only seniors that lived locally to my small town. Now, a large majority of my seniors are planning DESTINATION shoots in Charleston! For example, Graceyn lives in Nebraska…but she visits Charleston every summer with her family. So, while they were in town for their summer beach trip…she decided to do her senior portraits! And we had SO much fun doing it!

Graceyn wanted to capture the quintessential downtown Charleston feel for some of her photos, but also wanted to highlight her love for the beach. We kicked things off on Rainbow Row and the Battery before making the drive over to Isle of Palms just in time for sunset. We talked all about her summer vacations in CHS and she has such a sweet, kind personality. Plus, let’s talk about those OUTFITS!! I absolutely loved all of the bright colors and fun textures. Graceyn was even brave enough to jump into the water at the beach for the last few shots…and I think it was SO worth it!
