Spring senior sessions are my absolute favorite…and they are even better when they are perfectly timed with the blooms in downtown Charleston! Katy and her sweet family flew in from TEXAS for her senior portraits. We scheduled this shoot MONTHS ago…but we ended up scheduling it PERFECTLY. Somehow, all at once, the azaleas AND the wisteria were in peak bloom for this shoot. It was an absolute dream!!! When you combine that with Katy’s stunning outfits and the iconic Pink Figgy… you get a recipe for a new favorite senior session!!

Katy was such a rockstar during this shoot because it was CHILLY. There were some points in the shoot where we were in the shade with the ocean breeze and she was covered in goosebumps. And she STILL rocked it!! Even in a tiny sundress and heels! We had the best time exploring the iconic Rainbow Row, Battery and Hampton Park locations to get tons of variety in her 2 hour shoot. I have so many favorites!

We were literally driving to a different location and saw these azaleas on the side of the road…and I knew we had to hop out and shoot here! I’m SO glad we did!!!

 

Absolutely LOVE when my seniors bring some of their favorite people to their shoot. Love this shot of Katy, her mom and sister!

This romper was PERFECT with the famous wisteria!!!

The pink + blue combo will always be a favorite of mine!
