What an AMAZING way to kick off the cooler fall season!!! I had the chance to photograph Kennedi’s senior portraits last week at the beautiful Hampton Park. It’s one of my favorite places to photograph seniors in Charleston! There is a ton of Spanish moss and ALWAYS flowers in bloom (no matter what time of year!!) Kennedi is the THIRD Hamilton sister I have photographed in the last few years, and it is always such an honor to work with this amazing family. Plus, we had the BEST weather: sunny and low 80’s! My first shoot in a LONG time that was below 100 degree heat index!! I am HERE for it!

Kennedi really wanted to have a simple, nature-focused backdrop for her senior portraits. Ideally, we were hoping for an open floral field of some kind…but we weren’t able to find one in Charleston this time of year. So, we got creative! You’ll have to scroll through to see, but I strategically placed Kennedi in some of the beautiful floral plants at Hampton Park to create foreground and background…which created the illusion of her standing in an open field! And I’m SO PROUD of the images we were able to get as a result!!
