When it rains, it pours…and that was EXACTLY what happened at Bella’s Charleston senior session! I am actually not sure if I have EVER had a shoot with this much rain. Talk about a plot twist!! The forecast for Bella’s senior session was absolutely beautiful the morning of her shoot: 80 degrees and sunny. But, I noticed that the radar looked a little suspicious despite the 0% chance of rain. As the afternoon progressed, I mentioned it to Bella…but we agreed our availability was limited and we were just going to GO for it since the forecast wasn’t predicting rain. Man, sometimes I forget how fast that can change in the South!!!

As I drove from Savannah to Charleston, the rain progressively got heavier and heavier…until it was a steady downpour. When I pulled up to Hampton Park to meet Bella, the rain was consistently falling with no stopping in sight. But, Bella was a total trooper and had an AMAZING attitude her entire session…even as the rain continued to pour harder on us! We photographed with cute clear umbrellas and under as many coverings as we could. We got creative with locations, lighting and posing…and ended up with a gallery of over 100 images that I absolutely LOVE!
