These posts are so special to me every single year. It’s one of my favorite ways to reflect on the last 365 days, and to curate the work that I’m the most PROUD of after an entire year of shooting. Typically, I do one of these posts for my weddings, one for engagement sessions and one for seniors. BUT, as you may have subtly noticed over the last few months…I am no longer photographing weddings (AH!) Instead, I am focusing primarily on senior portraits – which have always been my specialty and first love as a photographer! So, as we move into 2024…I am focusing on my BEST of SENIOR work from the entire year of 2023! Curating these images is a process that takes me hours and hours…but it is always so fulfilling for me to get to look back at these posts and remember some of my favorite work that I created in each year of my business!

Some of these images are my favorite because they are technically beautiful. Some are in this post because they were really hard to shoot in the moment (HELLOOOOO crazy lighting, weird locations and insane weather)…or maybe I just feel like I truly captured my senior client in a way that feels true to THEM. This post includes all of my seniors I photographed in 2023 (!!!) including some epic locations like California flower fields, Laguna Beach, iconic areas of downtown Savanah and Charleston, my old stomping grounds in Fredericksburg, VA and more!
