I still remember my first call with Katrina when she inquired about me photographing her wedding. We ended up chatting forever and instantly hit it off…we had so much in common! From that moment on, I was looking forward to their gorgeous spring wedding at Hewitt Oaks! But, just a few months later, we found out we were expecting our first baby girl…and my due date was just two weeks before Katrina and Jordan’s wedding. I was so sad when I realized there was just no way I would be able to photograph it myself. But, my amazing friend Erika flew in from California to photograph their wedding day as my associate photographer…and she absolutely CRUSHED it! All of the images in this blog post were captured by Erika, but edited by me…and I cannot wait for you to see them!

I had the privilege of meeting Katrina and Jordan for their engagement session last year, and I instantly knew that their wedding day was going to be FUN. There are just some couples who I KNOW are going to have a packed dance floor and crazy fun reception…and these two were it! I told Erika how amazing they were, and she saw it for herself on their wedding day. Katrina and Jordan have such a special marriage where they are truly best friends. They have the BEST time together, and it is so evident in everything they do…including in their wedding images!

In addition to being a wonderful couple, Katrina and Jordan are absolutely STUNNING and have amazing taste. The mix-matched bridesmaids dresses, colorful florals and wild reception are just some of my favorite parts of their low-country wedding day! Keep scrolling to see some of my favorites!
