WHERE DO I BEGIN?! I’ve been waiting for this day for over a year! Maddie and Austin’s luxury pink wedding at Lowndes Grove in Charleston did NOT disappoint. It’s actually the most GORGEOUS wedding day I’ve ever photographed! From start to finish, my jaw was on the floor this entire day. The design, the vision, the florals, the gowns…it was truly breathtaking. But, even bigger and better than any of those things is the love story between Austin and Maddie. It sounds so cheesy…but it could not be more true! They have the most special, one-in-a-lifetime, best friends type of love. It was such a joy to witness and an absolute honor to photograph!

The amazing planning team at Fox Events blew it out of the WATER with this wedding day. Maddie actually used to work with their planning team, and it only takes ONE time of meeting Maddie to understand why EVERYONE would go above and beyond to make her feel special. Because she makes everyone else around her feel that way! She is such a ray of sunshine and Austin sets a HIGH bar and amazing example of loving her so, so well. Their wedding day was the perfect combination of beautiful design and thoughtful, intentional, personalized details – it all came together to create the most epic Bridgerton-meets-Barbie dream. We were a little behind schedule during this part of the day. The pink bus was supposed to be leaving to go get guests…but I begged for 5 minutes (and for him to completely move the bus into better lighting LOL) and I’d say it was WORTH IT!

The plot twist no one expected: during the processional, the weather went from full-fledge sunny to an absolute DOWNPOUR. In 2 minutes flat. Not even being dramatic! The sky OPENED UP right before Maddie walked down the aisle. The planning team passed out 300+ clear umbrellas, and we picked back up as soon as the rain stopped (or so we thought…)

It started sprinkling the tiniest bit…

Then it DOWN POURED!!! But look at all of these smiling faces!!

No one can rain on this girl’s parade!!! How does the rain somehow make it even MORE romantic!?
