It is RARE that this happens…but it is so exciting when it does! Sophie was vacationing in Charleston from TEXAS last week…and she emailed me just 48 hours before she came to town. She really wanted her senior portraits taken on Rainbow Row to capture all of the Charleston charm in one of her favorite places. Typically, I don’t have any availability this last second. But, I just so happened to be in Charleston that week and had ONE day available. It worked out PERFECTLY! It may have been almost 115 degree heat index (!!!), but somehow Sophie looked like an absolute ROCKSTAR the entire time!

We explored the typical favorite spots on Charleston’s iconic Rainbow Row, but I also challenged myself a bit during this shoot. I wanted to find NEW spots in the beautiful streets surrounding Rainbow Row…and not just limit myself to the spots I’ve used before. And we did just that! I found some new gems hidden on side streets that I didn’t even know were there!!
