It is going to be a FUN few weeks on the blog…because it’s going to be PACKED with summer seniors! We’re kicking it off with Madi’s gorgeous, glowing senior portraits on Hilton Head Island. The craziest part about this shoot? It was scheduled for the week of hurricane Debby. On Hilton Head Island. Right in the dead center of where the storm was supposed to hit. And Madi was only in town for the week of the storm! What a NIGHTMARE. The shoot was originally scheduled for earlier in the week, but we had to shift things around and be ready to go at a moment’s notice based on what the storm was doing. Miraculously, the storm moved out to the ocean sooner than the forecast planned…so we had SUNNY SKIES on Thursday night! Right before Madi was leaving town! It could not have been more ideal.

To make it even better, the storm cleared the beach and made the weather SO nice. There was a breeze and it wasn’t crazy hot. It was truly an ideal scenario that NONE of us could have expected when looking at the forecast! We explored a ton of beautiful spots on Hilton Head to get variety at Madi’s shoot: the town center, a local park, the docks and the beach. It was so much fun! Just wait until you see Madi and her best friend run into the ocean wearing pink caps and gowns…iconic!
