Sophia’s ballet-filled senior session in Savannah was an absolute DREAM to capture from start to finish. And I can’t believe it’s my second to last senior session of 2024! How in the WORLD did it go by so fast?! Sophia’s mom reached out to me with dreams of photographing ballet photos of Sophia on pointe in front of the iconic Forsyth Fountain. From the start, I was hooked! I used to be a ballerina myself, so capturing dancers is always so fun for me creatively. We ended up photographing an entire senior session for Sophia, capturing ALL sides of her personality, and it was just the best.

We started her session in Forsyth Park to explore the beautiful Spanish moss and, of course, capture the Forsyth fountain. Then, we went to Tybee Island to capture sunset on the beach. Sophia chose to do a more “formal” dance outfit AND a more “casual” athletic-wear outfit at the beach. I LOVED that she incorporated both sides of her life as a dancer! I have SO many favorites from this session, especially the last outfit at the beach!

Sophia (and your sweet momma, Stephanie) – thank you so much for traveling so far to capture these portraits in Savannah! I had so much fun exploring with you both (even in the cold!) and I hope you love scrolling through some of my favorites 🙂
