My LAST senior session of 2024…how in the world did that happen?! Spoiler alert: Ava’s session on the beach was the BEST way to end my year. Ava’s sweet mom reached out to me in a panic realizing that the yearbook photo deadline was much sooner than they thought. They were hoping to squeeze a session in before the holidays…and they were willing to travel at the last second in order to make it happen! By chance, I was already going to be in Charleston…so I offered them up my last available date of the year. Not only did they travel in from NC…but they did it in a WHIRLWIND 24-hour trip!!! They literally drove into Charleston the morning of Ava’s session with only hours to spare…and left first thing the next day. What an HONOR to have clients that are so committed and excited about their senior sessions!

The only downside? It was COLD. More specifically, it was one of Charleston’s first cold days of the winter. We are talking wind chills by the end of the shoot that felt like 35 degrees! But, looking at the photos…you would NEVER know it. Ava was bundled up in a parka with hand warmers in between outfits, and we still had the GREATEST time exploring Charleston while chatting all things dance, Taylor Swift and college plans. I am SO excited for Ava and everything she has in store. She is truly such a gem and is going to CRUSH it next year!

Ava and Mrs. Frampton: Thank you so much for trusting me to capture such special memories for you! I had the best time experiencing Charleston together and am wishing you nothing but the absolute best for the rest of your senior year! You were a ROCKSTAR despite the cold!
