We had the BEST time at Colleen’s senior session downtown Charleston! One of the common themes of the last few weeks has been the RAIN in the forecast for almost every single shoot…and sadly Colleen’s was no different. Colleen was only in town for a few days with her family, and the forecast was back-to-back stormy days. On the day of her session, initially it said rain…then it said sun…then changed back to rain at the last minute. I got a text from Colleen’s mom that her hair and makeup would be done early, so I raced downtown as fast as I could and we started the session over an hour before we had originally scheduled. It was CRAZY timing, because right as we finished her last outfit – the skies turned almost black! It was truly some of the most perfect timing I’ve ever seen!

Because we started so early, we actually had the most gorgeous, glowing light for the first portion of her shoot – and I LOVED it!! Colleen’s outfits were so stunning – I loved her style and the way it coordinated with the Charleston architecture. I got so many messages after sharing her photos that she looked SO chic! We captured the iconic Battery and all of the areas surrounding before finishing up at Hampton Park. Colleen’s gallery includes all the best Charleston has to offer: beautiful homes, colorful florals, Spanish moss, cobblestone streets, pink buildings and more. It’s a good one, ya’ll!
