I am not sure if I’ve EVER had this hard of a time narrowing down my favorite images from a shoot! Working with Megan for her ballet-filled senior portraits in downtown Charleston was unbelievable. I photographed Megan for the first time when she was a sophomore in high school, and I was looking for models on the other side of the country in Laguna Beach, CA. We just so happened to be in the area at the same time – and we made THIS magic happen! At that shoot, she mentioned that she wanted me to be her senior photographer someday…and I was THRILLED when I finally got that official inquiry earlier this year!

Megan dreamed of a girly, fun, PINK, personalized session in downtown Charleston that felt like HER. She wanted to highlight her impressive career as a ballerina, include her adorable puppies, bring along a pink cap and gown and capture the beauty of downtown Charleston. And I think we did ALL of that (and more!) Photographing Megan on pointe in a stunning white tutu with the iconic pink Mills House hotel in the background was for SURE a highlight…I probably have 20 favorite images just from that small portion of our shoot! And, did I mention her puppies had MATCHING pink caps? Just wait until you see those!

Megan: thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture your portraits not once, but twice! Working with you is such a joy. You are such a bright light and have an AMAZING future ahead of you – I can’t wait to see what’s in store!
