Oh, ya’ll, I’ve been waiting to share these images for weeks + I am so excited to be sharing them on the blog today! A few months ago, I had the privilege of attuning the AJ Workshop in Richmond, VA with Amy & Jordan! This workshop was one of the last on my list that I knew I just HAD to attend, so when I snagged a seat, I was thrilled!
Let me tell you a little about these two. First of all, they are phenomenal. In every sense of the word. When I found their work about a year ago + began following their journey, I was inspired + encouraged from the start. These two are (very obviously!) some wonderfully talented photographers, but their hearts are what I fell in love with. From the get-go, these two wanted to use their business for GOOD. They wanted to serve others, pour into business owners + use their talent to glorify God + love others like He loves us. They are beautiful examples of grace, love + encouragement + I can only hope to be half as wonderful as they are!
I have had a few people ask me WHY I still attend workshops or why I invest so much into education. Whenever I get asked this question, I get caught a little off guard. Why would you NOT invest into learning from other wonderful leaders in the industry?! No matter how successful your business is now, just imagine how much you can learn from two days of being poured into by some of the industry’s top photographers!! I have invested A LOT into workshops, conferences, mentoring + networking and I can honestly say that I believe it is a huge part of the reason why my business has become what it is. Without the amazing leaders + photographers who have encouraged me through these opportunities, I would not be the business owner that I am right now! You can read a little more of my heart on education in THIS blog post, because I could talk about it for quite awhile!! 🙂
