Kimberly and Marlon are such a sweet couple. I met them at my studio last year to chat about their big day, and I also got to spend time with Kimberly’s family at her bridal session just a few months ago! I LOVED spending time with them and I just knew that their wedding day was going to be fun and laid back, just like they are!! One of my favorite things to witness was how Kim’s bridesmaids rallied around her to help her when things got a little stressful on the morning of the wedding. They were doing everything they could to make her life easier and to hide issues from her while they finished their hair and makeup…they just love her so much.

Kim and Marlon met through a mutual friend at the gym, and he put together the SWEETEST proposal at Kim’s favorite Richmond restaurant. They did a wine tasting together and sat down for a meal with their favorite waitress. Kim always orders a salad, so she flipped open to that page of the menu and there was a note from Marlon. She looked up and he was down on one knee. So stinking sweet!!

Last weekend was the most BEAUTIFUL weather for a September wedding. Their outdoor ceremony and ballroom reception were absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait for you to scroll through some of my favorites!
