I remember first meeting with Anna and just loving how soft-spoken and sweet she is. We chatted over Chai fraps downtown while talking about her wedding day, structuring her timeline and her fiancé, Chris. He couldn’t make it to our meeting that day, but I could already tell I was going to love him just based on the way she was talking about him. These two are so in love and it shows in all of their engagement images!

Downtown Fredericksburg has so many beautiful nooks and crannies, especially during the falls season. It can be tough to find beautiful fall foliage when it’s constantly changing here in Virginia…but the timing was PERFECT for these two to capture the incredible fall colors that Virginia has to offer us!!! Each time I posed them and told them to snuggle up, they stayed cozy and wrapped into each other, even when my camera was down. And that has to be my FAVORITE thing about photographing my couples: they’re so joyfully in love that they don’t need me photographing them in order to show their affection.

I cannot WAIT to be a part of Anna and Chris’s wedding day next year and am so honored to be their photographer. Enjoy all of my favorites from their fall engagement session!!
