I’m really not even sure where to start because I just can’t handle the cuteness in this blog post!!! Over the last few years, my sweet friend Kat has walked through so many tough seasons. After years of trying to start a family, Kat walked through two miscarriages before becoming pregnant with baby Schmo (you can read more about her story on her blog HERE). She had SO many people praying for her and lifting up her sweet family through the trials she experienced. When she asked me to photograph her baby shower, I knew it would be SUCH a special event and I felt so honored to capture it all!

Kat and her husband, Matt, have the CUTEST little pup named Knox that they just adore…so “Reining Kats and Dogs” was the PERFECT theme for her shower!!! The adorable details, yummy snacks and stunning location made this baby shower one-of-a-kind. There were so many pretty things to photograph…I think I could’ve done it all day!

My favorite moment from the entire shower was when Katelyn led everyone to pray over Kat and Baby Schmo. We all gathered around, laid our hands on Kat and lifted her and her sweet baby boy up to Heaven. There were so many tears shed and so much love poured into that room…it was POWERFUL. I know without a shadow of a doubt that Kat was BORN to be a momma to this little boy and we all cannot WAIT to meet him!
