We arrived on Abbey and Sam’s wedding day and NO ONE could stop talking about the weather. In the 60’s, not a cloud in the sky and just the perfect light breeze. It seriously could not have been any better! I had never worked at Upper Shirley before (with the exception of Abbey and Sam’s engagement session!) so I couldn’t WAIT to get started. The property is absolutely stunning and even the light INSIDE is amazing. I knew Abbey had put SO much thought into every little detail…and she loves ice cream and dessert as much as I do. Nothing could be better!!!

Abbey and Sam have so many people that love them, and their relationships with their family and parents were just so special. The entire wedding was planned around Abbey and Sam wanting their GUESTS to enjoy their time at the wedding…and it was done SO well. The gorgeous reception hall was so elegant and the “dancing tent” was separate to make the party even more fun. There was a “build your own ice cream sundae” bar, a s’mores buffet and the most STUNNING wedding cake as the center of it all. I seriously just LOVED it!

Abbey and Sam: thank you so, so much for inviting me to be a part of your big day! Witnessing the love you two share was such an honor, and capturing these memories for you was such a blessing. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! XO!
