I had been looking forward to this wedding for so long. I first met Sam and Bryce at their Richmond engagement session last fall. They were SO sweet, and they live in the same exact apartments I lived in in Richmond for a short period! We had a blast together at their engagement session and I just knew from that moment on that their wedding day would be incredibly special. I arrived to the Mill at Fine Creek with Kristen (my second shooter!) and walked into a bridal suite of ladies who were completely ready (hair and makeup already done!) and relaxing in the cutest matching nightgowns with champagne in hand. Talk about the best start to a wedding day! They were so laid back and excited – it was the perfect atmosphere.
It was a HOT day…but not a single person complained (including Bryce, who did over an hour of portraits with me in a SUIT in 90+ degrees!) All of their friends and family were just so genuinely excited to see them get married – and nothing else mattered! The way Sam and Bryce love each other is so intentional and special – all of the guests couldn’t help but to follow suit. It was so sweet and special to witness – not to mention absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Sam chose a gorgeous shade of emerald green as the main color palette throughout the day and it was so unique. I typically see those rich tones in the fall – but I LOVED it for a summer wedding!!!
Sam and Bryce: I hope you are enjoying every second of your honeymoon! Thank you for inviting me to be a part of such a special celebration. I hope you love these favorites as much as I do (because there are quite a few – haha!)

May or mat not have dropped my camera down the stairs on the way to take these portraits. One shattered flash later, this happened – and it was worth it! Haha!!!
