Courtney and Ross traveled to Fredericksburg for their engagement session and I was SO excited to meet them in person! We had chatted over email quite a bit about their upcoming 2020 wedding, and we had to reschedule this shoot a few weeks ago because of the weather. But, last week, we had the PRETTIEST sunny July evening! It was a little hot…but the light was AMAZING! I also learned that Ross is a SKYDIVING instructor…and these two have both done multiple jumps on their own (and Ross casually flies the planes, no biggie). They are officially the COOLEST!!!

Ross and Courtney’s favorite activity to do together is drink coffee at coffee shops everywhere they go – it’s a huge part of their love story! So, we kickstarted the shoot at my favorite local coffee shop in downtown Fredericksburg – they even brought their own mugs (which made for some AMAZING ring shots, by the way!!) Then, we went to my favorite open field downtown. Courtney’s words were “the less buildings around for our shooting locations, the better!” Haha! I love it!! We had the prettiest golden light (that totally complimented Ross’s red beard, by the way) and it was SO much fun! I hope you enjoy some of my faves!!! I only have TWO more shoots left in Fredericksburg before the move! AHHHH!
