I did SO much shooting in the month of October…but this shoot was such a special grande finale!!! I have been photographing Chelsey and her family for YEARS now – starting with their engagement and wedding photos, then their anniversary, family and maternity photos ever since <3 Chelsey is a sweet friend of mine, an amazing second shooter and an all-around incredible person. I am NOT a maternity photographer (and still won’t be accepting maternity sessions!), but I feel so honored to be chosen to capture these memories for such a special friend. Chelsey is a photographer herself, which makes it even MORE of an honor to be chosen to photograph so much special seasons in her life!

I committed to doing Chelsey’s photos before I knew we’d be moving to Charleston, so I was a little worried how the timing would work after the move. But, it just so happened that everything perfectly lined up with my most recent trip to Virginia for my last fall wedding! I photographed Chelsey’s portraits on Friday evening and the wedding on Saturday (before driving 8 hours back Sunday!) It was a WHIRLWIND of a weekend, but so, so special! The timing also aligned perfectly with the gorgeous fall foliage in Virginia…just WAIT until you see these colors!!!

A huge thank you to Tammy at Westwood Florist for the stunning florals and Chelsey’s sweet friend Katie for letting us borrow her horse and barn for the afternoon!!
