The dreamiest of Charleston summer shoots is coming your way!! Meredith and Mitch traveled all the way to Charleston from Richmond, VA for their engagement session last week. Before their shoot, we had 3 straight weeks of non-stop rain and thunderstorms…so I was a little nervous that the forecast said rain for their shoot date just a few days beforehand. But, I kept a close eye on it and it completely cleared up…we had the PERFECT, glowy summer evening! I knew it was going to be a fun session when they pulled up with their family in a party bus…and it WAS!

Meredith’s sister, Katelyn, was one of my brides 5 years ago…and I’ve photographed many of their friend’s weddings since then. Seeing them all again in one place made my heart SO happy! I was over-the-moon excited when Meredith and Mitch inquired about me photographing their VA Beach wedding in 2022…I’m literally counting down the days with them! We had the BEST (and sweaty, haha!) time walking around downtown Charleston and exploring some of my favorite spots: Rainbow Row, Tradd Street and the Battery. Meredith and Mitch were NATURALS in front of the camera and have the BEST style – they had the Charleston aesthetic perfected!
