Where do I even start with Mary!? This senior session has quickly become one of my new favorites, and we had the absolute BEST time while creating so many beautiful images! I drove up to Charleston on Monday about an hour before this shoot to meet up with Meredith (the driver of the The Pink Figgy)! I knew the general area I wanted to shoot, but hadn’t nailed down an exact location for the car to park yet. This pink building on The Battery has been one of my favorites for SO long…but there are typically too many parked cars and too much traffic to shoot here. Somehow, we lucked out and arrived to NO cars parked out front…so we stood in the parking spot for over 20 minutes to claim it as our shooting location! HA!! Worth it!!!

We had the most gorgeous, breezy, 75 degree day in downtown Charleston for Mary’s portraits. She and her two sisters drove in from Charlotte, NC to make this shoot happen…and I am SO glad that they did! We photographed on the Battery, Rainbow Row and Waterfront Park (with the signature pineapple fountain) and the light was so stunning. I can’t wait for you to scroll through some of my favorites!
