One of my favorite things about moving to Charleston is that I get to photograph SO many sweet clients that AREN’T local! Over the last few months, I have found myself photographing so many amazing senior clients that are in town for the summer but live all over the US. Come to find out…Ella is from Virginia, just a few short hours away from where I lived for 16 years! SUCH a small world!! Her family was in town for a summer vacation, and they decided to capture her senior portraits on the iconic Rainbow Row + in the stunning Hampton Park while they were here! They even chose to rent The Pink Figgy…and ya’ll know that’s one of my favorite things to photograph!!

Ella got SO lucky with the beautiful weather at her session. The 3 days leading up to Thursday had (quite literally) record-breaking heat index up to 125 degrees. Insane!!! Her session was still a bit on the toasty side, but not NEAR as bad as it could have been. And we had the most amazing breeze! My favorite part about Ella was that she is so naturally beautiful and laid back. We had so much fun exploring some of my favorite locations in Charleston and I may be biased…but I think getting your portraits taken while in Charleston is a great addition to any summer vacation!! 🙂
