This may be one of the longer engagement session posts I’ve ever shared…because I just have SO many favorites from this Savannah session!!! But first, some back story on why I absolutely love this couple 🙂 Henry is one of Hayden’s close friends that I met for the first time on NYE last year. They went to college together and were in the same fraternity, and Hayden always told me how much I would LOVE his girlfriend, Haley. When we got the chance to spend the weekend together for New Year’s, it was very obvious that he was so right – we were kindred spirits!

While Haley was in the bathroom getting ready that night, Henry sneakily told us that he was preparing a proposal and showed us photos of his mom’s beautiful ring that he would be using to propose. I was SO excited!!! We didn’t know exactly when it was coming…but Hayden and I both squealed out loud when we saw they were ENGAGED in the spring!! Then, a few short weeks later I got an inquiry for a Nashville wedding with Henry and Haley’s name on it…I can’t even begin to tell you how excited and HONORED I was!

When we began chatting about their engagement session, they decided they wanted to travel down to Savannah to have beautiful photos with the Spanish moss. I had been dying to shoot at the iconic Wormsloe location since moving down South…so I thought this was the perfect excuse! We had the entire property to ourselves for an hour before it opened to the public and it could not have been more of a DREAM come true!

Henry and Haley: thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me to capture some of your most precious memories! It is truly such an honor and I am so thankful to call you both friends. Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites!
