These blog posts are always SO special to me. Last week, I hosted my bi-annual mastermind retreat in Charleston, SC with 11 of the most wonderful women. If you aren’t familiar with my mastermind, we need to start there: it is my highest-level coaching program that I offer. I work with 10-12 business owners every 6 months to help them create, launch and scale educational resources in their businesses (mentoring, online courses, digital products, etc.). I had the opportunity to work with these ladies from January through June of this year. Until this retreat, we had only ever met virtually…so spending 3 days together in REAL LIFE is the perfect grand finale!

We kicked things off on Monday evening with a welcome happy hour at our Airbnb! We had charcuterie, wine and a whole lot of laughs while the ladies arrived from all over the country. We sat around one long table as we ate pizza and ice cream sundaes and talked about how excited we were to all be together! Tuesday was our jam-packed day: we started off with Chick-Fil-A breakfast and head shots on Rainbow Row (we won’t talk about the humidity or the thunder that tried to roll in while we were shooting, haha!) Then, we headed back to the house for an afternoon of education. I broke down my quarterly planning process and mapped out my Q3 offers in real-time, then talked through each member of my team and the tasks that they handle for me to make my online business a success. After that, we did speed-dating mentoring: my term for chatting one-on-one with each student to assess their current business needs and provide insight for next steps. We finished off Tuesday with my favorite part of each retreat: a delicious group dinner at Le Farfalle! On Wednesday morning, we said our goodbyes over a yummu brunch downtown at Miller’s All Day. It could not have been a more wonderful week!

I’ve said it so many times, but these mastermind groups are my absolute favorite work that I currently do in my business. Getting the opportunity to come alongside incredible women (and men!) to help them scale their businesses is such an honor that I do not take lightly. Every single one of these groups of students become dear friends of mine, and it is so exciting to see them all pursue their dreams and work SO hard to bring them to fruition. I am so, so proud!

To Tia, Tori, Anna, Elle, Catherine, Courtney B., Corrin, Alicia, Jessica, Courtney I. and Gina: thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me be a small part of your business journey. It is been such a privilege to get to know you over the last 6 months, and I cannot wait to see where your dreams take you from here. I’m so proud to know you and lucky to call you friends!
