These mastermind retreats are always a highlight of my year. These blog post recaps serve as a way for me to look back on them for years to come (and to share all of the fun with you)! If you aren’t familiar with my mastermind, it is my highest level, 6-month coaching program that I offer in my business. It is designed for business owners that want to launch or scale an online course or digital product for their audience. I have been hosting my mastermind for the last 2 years, and it is truly a highlight of my career. Having such high-level conversations and intentional one-on-one coaching for INCREDIBLE business owners refills my cup in a huge way. At the end of every 6-month mastermind, we have a grand finale retreat: 2 days together in-person in Charleston, SC!

Last week, I hosted this retreat for my July-Dec 2022 mastermind group. We have been meeting virtually every single week for the last 6 months, and it was SO surreal to hug them all in person! This group is full of INCREDBILE entreprenures that are photographers, wedding planners, conference hosts, speakers, educators and overall wonderful humans. We spent 2 days laughing, chatting, sharing amazing meals, dreaming big and diving deep into what the backend of my business looks like. It’s always such a gift to spend time around such inspiring business owners…not to mention how much of an honor it is to COACH them!

I welcomed all of the attendees on Tuesday night with wine, pizza, charcuterie and a welcome gift as they arrived into town from all over the US. We spent the night catching up and talking about how SURREAL it was to all be in the same room after 6 months of chatting every single week online! We had dessert and had an early bedtime before a FULL day on Wednesday. After a delicious breakfast, we kicked Wednesday off with head shots + group photos on Rainbow Row (one of my favorite parts!) Then, we ate lunch before an afternoon FULL of learning. I shared all about the backend of my business, my team, our weekly workflows, my own personal goals for 2023, an inside look at a new launch happening THIS week and so much more. Then, I had one-on-one time with each of them to talk about their own unique businesses and goals for 2023. We finished off with a dinner at one of my absolute favorites in all of Charleston: Le Farfalle! We said bittersweet goodbyes on Thursday morning over a delicious brunch at Miller’s All Day!

To Katiera, Nicole, Mark, Becky, April, Jason, Katelyn, Amber, Courtney, Robert, Kelsey and Josh: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being such a joy to work with these last 6 months. I truly feel so, so lucky to know each one of you – and unbelievably honored to have been trusted as your coach. You are all such hard workers, inspiring creatives and have hearts that are just as big as your dreams. I cannot WAIT to see what’s in store for you in 2023!

To Laura and Rachel: Thank you so much for capturing this event so beautifully, as always! The behind-the-scenes images and group photos that you capture are a highlight for me every single year!

To my mom, sister and Hayden: Thank you for helping me to make this event happen by helping to set-up, pack my car, clean my car before I left because I’m a slob (ahem, love you Hayden) and so much more. I couldn’t do it without you!

Ending this mastermind retreat was even MORE bittersweet than usual. Because, for the first time in over two years, I am NOT hosting the mastermind for the first half of this year. I’m taking a break for our wedding in May (!!!) and picking the mastermind back up for July-December 2023. I’m going to miss it so, so much!  There are currently only 8 seats left for the next round of the mastermind and you can LEARN MORE HERE if you’d like to apply to join us!
