My FIRST senior session of 2023…and my first senior session back in Fredericksburg in over 4 years!!!! What a special blog post! And, it’s even better because it’s a super special senior. Lizzie reached out to me about photographing her senior portraits when she saw we would be in Fredericksburg. She has followed me for YEARS, and said she always dreamed of having me photograph her portraits…it was SO special to work with her. She is truly so kind, genuine, gracious and a wildly talented athlete. Not to mention that she is absolutely STUNNING!!!
We filmed this entire session for The Senior Scoop…so we purposefully put ourselves in a hard shooting situation. In Fredericksburg, everything is dead in the middle of February because it is still the height of winter. So, we had the challenge of creating beautiful portraits in some tricky locations that were less than ideal. BUT, we made it happen and I’m so proud of these portraits!!! Lizzie made our jobs SO easy…and we spent 1.5 hours driving around to find the ONE area with blooming flowers in all of downtown!! And they were gorgeous!

LOVED this!!! This little corner of the white picket fence was a PERFECT spot with tons of greenery!!
