Oh my goodness, where do I begin with these two!? Sydney and Michael’s sunrise engagement session in downtown Charleston was a dream from start to finish. I had been looking forward to this shoot for MONTHS! Sydney and Michael first inquired with me because they are getting married at the same wedding venue as us: Hewitt Oaks! 5 minutes into our first call, I knew we were going to have the best time working together. We planned their engagement session in Charleston with hopes of capturing the gorgeous spring blooms along the Battery…and we did just that!

There were storms in the forecast for the morning of their shoot, but they didn’t let that bring them down one bit. And, it ended up being a STUNNING morning in downtown Charleston: sun, cool temps and beautiful florals! Sydney and Michael were a dream to photograph and made my job SO easy. Their bubbly, joyful personalities were so fun to capture!
