Today I’m doing something I’ve never done before that I think is going to be absolutely hilarious – I’m pulling up my very first senior portrait galleries from over 10 years ago and I’m going to critique what I did wrong, what I could have changed, and what I think I could’ve done better! I make fun of my old work all the time and I have shared that in keynote talks on stages and things like that but I’ve never dove into my past work here. I wanted to do this to show you that 1) we all start somewhere, 2) some of my work I’m still really proud of but I’m going to try and talk a little bit about the technical perspective behind some of these images and 3) none of this is supposed to be negative or make fun of anyone, but to be light hearted and fun!
Before we jump in, I want to invite you to watch a FREE month’s worth of content from The Senior Scoop, my monthly membership for senior photographers. It is my favorite thing I offer for senior photographers where I take you behind the scenes on real senior sessions with my own commentary along the way.
