This is the start of a BEAUTIFUL week of blog posts. Over the last few days, I had the privilege of photographing Maddie and Austin’s wedding weekend. It all kicked off with an epic White Party on Isle of Palms on Thursday night! A stunning rehearsal dinner over-looking the beach seamlessly transitioned into the most incredible welcome party I’ve ever seen. It featured all of the guests (and vendors) wearing white…with the bride and groom in PINK (!!!) And, to make it even MORE amazing…Maddie’s pink dress was actually her senior year PROM dress (that she wore to prom WITH Austin)! She had it re-imagined to be her gown to kick-off their wedding weekend years later. I’ll never get over it!!!

I’ve had the honor of working with Maddie’s family more than once over the last few years (HERE is a peek back at their proposal!), and I can’t even begin to describe how excited I’ve been for this wedding weekend. Maddie and Austin are such a special couple. They are not only high school sweethearts with the sweetest love story…but they are both some of the kindest and most humble people I know. It is so clear that they are the BEST of friends, and it was such a joy to get to be in the room and hear the speeches at this rehearsal dinner. Maddie and Austin are so unbelievably loved…and it is so easy to see why.

After almost 10 years, I technically no longer photograph weddings (which is so bittersweet to say!!!), but I’m so thrilled I made an exception for these two and their amazing families 🙂 Enjoy scrolling through my favorites from their “Night Before”…and just you wait until their wedding day blog post TOMORROW!
