Meredith and her sweet momma traveled all the way to Charleston from NC for her senior portraits. SUCH an honor!!! Meredith knew she wanted to capture the charm of Rainbow Row, but really wanted to highlight portraits on the beach at Sullivan’s Island – where she grew up visiting in the summers. The day of her session was HOT (we’re talking 110-115 degree heat index!) and a chance of storm randomly popped into the forecast the morning of her shoot. When clients travel in from out of town, rescheduling their portraits isn’t always an option in bad weather…so we had to make it HAPPEN! We decided to make a game-time decision and move Meredith’s shoot up by 3-4 hours to try to miss the storms. And we somehow NAILED it! You can even see in the background of some of the beach portraits that the storms were rolling in AS we were shooting…we finished RIGHT before the sky opened up!! It was perfect!
