The first senior session of 2026…and I’d say we are off to an AMAZING start!!! Blythe and her family wanted to capture her senior portraits on the iconic Charleston Battery with a few fun, next-level details: a vintage VW bus, Blythe’s brand new puppy and fresh florals! I have had the privilege of working with Blythe’s amazing family many times over the years, so I KNEW that her outfits and planning would not disappoint. And I was right!!! The thing you may not be able to tell about this shoot at first glance is that it was taken in early January…so it was COLD. Like 40 degree wind chill cold by the end of our session!! But, as you scroll through the gallery…you’ll find that it actually feels like SPRING!!! Blythe was such a trooper and the gorgeous colors of her outfits enabled this session to feel warm and floral (despite the goosebumps as we worked!)

This was also my first time having the opportunity to photograph the Charleston Shutter Bus! I’ve always wanted the chance to photograph this vintage VW bus (because how CUTE !!!) and I was so excited when Blythe thought it matched the vision for her shoot. We had the BEST time with this!
